Wanna know a secret?
I used to hate being on camera.
I'll explain how I got here but first, let me give you some backstory.

Oh heyyy, I'm Dom Anders.
Video & digital media have been my whole career.
For the past 20+ years I've been a producer director and writer for unscripted TV (aka reality TV) and branded content. I’ve probably worked on some of your favorite (or fav to hate!) reality shows.
I’ve also worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood as well as people who had never stepped in front of the camera in their life.
And I loved every minute of it...until I didn't.
And You Thought Everything On Instagram Was Fake!?
Like most stories in Hollywood, there's a lot is going on behind the scenes that you don’t see.
On one hand, I had my dream job! I was traveling around the world producing, directing, and writing for TV shows and brands.
But my life was completely dominated by work. I had no balance and my life felt like a Jenga puzzle, ready to crash at any moment.
And Then It Did.
Call it burnout, call it a midlife crisis. But one divorce and one tattoo later.* I left full time** producing behind.
Now I teach people like you how to use video to connect with their audiences and build their businesses.
*when people see my tattoo they always laugh
**I still occasionally day play on fun TV projects.

Now back to why I hated being on camera...

I didn't think I belonged. My place was BEHIND the camera.
Just the thought of having to look into the lens and talk in front of the camera made my hands sweat.
But because of my background, I knew what a powerful tool video could be for connecting with my audience so I sucked it up and got on camera.
Over time I’ve learned to embrace and it and sometimes even love it!
